Building websites with AI: what changes, and what doesn't

By Antony Addy and Julien Bourgois 2 min read

We use AI to design and build your website. Here's what it really does, what it doesn't, and why your site won't end up looking like everyone else's.

We say it openly: we build our websites with the help of artificial intelligence. The next question is usually the same: “So AI makes my website?” No. Here’s how it actually works.

What AI changes

AI is a very fast production tool. It helps us:

  • write the code for a page, an animation or a form, which we then read through and adjust;
  • try out several layouts before choosing the right one;
  • draft translations, which we then have checked and corrected;
  • check a site’s accessibility, speed and search-engine basics.

The result is time saved on the repetitive parts, and we put that time back where it matters.

What doesn’t change

You talk to a person. You deal directly with whoever is building your site, from the first call to launch. No anonymous platform, no chain of middlemen.

Decisions stay human. What your site should say first, what visitors should be able to do in one tap, the tone it should take: all of that comes from a conversation with you, not from a model.

Every detail is checked by hand. We test on phones, we read the text, we fix what isn’t right. AI suggests; we decide.

Your content stays yours. Your words, your photos, the way you talk to your customers: that’s what makes a site believable, and you hold the key to it.

Why your site won’t look generic

A site “made by AI” with no human eye on it tends to look like every other one. Ours start from your business.

Compare a few sites in this window: the Ristorante da Lola pizzeria with its ember tones, the Wall Street pub and its weekly agenda, Filton Athletic FC and its Concorde story, or EM Concept, where you can switch off the lights in a home cinema. Same tools, very different results, because each site starts from a different story.

What it means for you

  • More time for the finishing touches, the ones that separate a decent site from one people enjoy using.
  • Features within easier reach: several languages, a full menu, polished animation.
  • A direct line to someone who understands both your trade and the technical side.

In short

AI is our tool, not our sales pitch. Our pitch is the sites we’ve delivered: browse them, then tell us about your project.
