The client
Filton Athletic FC is a grassroots football club in north Bristol, founded in the 1960s in Filton, the birthplace of Concorde. The first team, reserves, A's and a youth section play at BBS Park North in the Marcliff Gloucestershire County Football League.
What we built
- The next match up front, with date, kick-off time and opponent.
- The club calendar, latest results and links to the official league tables.
- News, the club shop and a page on how to join.
- A ticker that scrolls through all the club's sponsors.
- A page for each team, from the first team to the youth section.
Design choices
The site starts from the story of the place: "We play where Concorde flew". Aviation references give the club an identity of its own, while matchday information stays front and centre for players and supporters alike.
