The client
Ristorante da Lola is a family pizzeria in Fermignano, in Italy's Marche region. It serves the region's cooking in a simple, friendly setting: homemade pasta, meat from the grill and a long list of wood-fired pizzas. Families are welcome too, with a bocce court next door and a playground outside.
What we built
- A site in four languages (Italian, English, French, German) for locals and visitors alike.
- A bar that always shows opening hours, the closing day and the number to book a table.
- The full menu, sorted by category from antipasti to desserts.
- A gallery, an introduction to the place and the team, and an FAQ.
- One-tap WhatsApp and directions.
Design choices
Warm ember and wood tones, Italian-style type and large kitchen photos make you want to sit down before you've even read the menu. The three house specialities lead the home page, so visitors grasp in seconds what makes the place different.
